My Journey: I have always been someone who really enjoys speaking and connecting with people. I knew early on that I wanted to work with people and provide support to various populations. I have always been interested in the human condition and how our intersectional identities impact our collective and individual experiences.

I spent one year working in Nicaragua and the last 6 years working with immigrants and refugees in Chicago through resettlement work. I also got my Masters’ in Social Work from UChicago and spent two years as a school social work intern for CPS. I have also received years of clinical supervision.

My clinical interests include treating individuals with building healthy boundaries, managing relationships, building self-confidence and self love, trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, women’s issues, life transitions, career concerns, people new to therapy and working with youth and young adults.

Clinical approach: I tend to lean towards Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing and strengths-based approaches. I love a holistic approach and believe that the work you put in during therapy sessions is equally important to the work you put in outside of therapy. I meet people where they are at and want people to feel comfortable talking to me through building a collaborative partnership and providing a safe space.

Personal Interests: I love going on walks with my pittie-mix, Daisy and my husband, I love a cappuccino, traveling, watching 90 day fiance, going out to eat and  hanging with friends and family
